ROOK BRAND CLOTHING

Graphic artists Joe King and Jon Garcia came together to form this epic clothing brand.  They blend illustration and graphic design in a way that merges the two in a perfect harmony.  This combo along with powerful images made a massive impact on me - this inevitably lead to another of my impulse sprees but no WAY was it regrettable.

On their website the 'about' states "if you have worn a graphic t-shirt from any skate/surf/streetwear brand in the past 6 years, Jonathan Garcia (28) and Joe King (29), have probably worked on the art for it." - they aren't lying and it shows.   Check it out at: http://rookbrand.com/shop/

Truly inspiring and QUALITY dezzigin.  cheers ROOK.

PINS

Now here's a guy who works hard.  The other day I met artist/designer PINS, in the Slam City Skates store in Covent Garden, where he had himself nicely set up.  He stated "basically I like donuts and Nike Air Max 1s and I made this stuff check out my website" so I did and I am impressed.  Check it out yourself at www.pinspired.com.  Taking influence from Warhol and Dali, PINS takes a modern, brand-aware approach to design and the results are tasty..

Ghostco.

Ghostco (Mathew Woodson) is an illustrator based in Chicago.  The scenes he creates are deep screenshot-like perspectives but his use of line and contrast create very emotive expression.  I love realism in illustration.  It's pretty cool how more power can be generated from proportionate drawing than the photograph in cases still.  Check out some of Ghostco's work on http://ghostco.org/

Stacks Skateboards artwork - the next Element..?

In Soho today I saw these boards by Stacks.  Really love this clean graphic style when it comes to deck-art and it reminded me of one of my favourite brands , Element.  I just wish they stayed that way after you used them!

Unrivaled

T-shirts like this are quality.  A nice bit of detailing on the shoulder make them pretty unique and the cloud-shaped camo pocket is a little bit different but at £124.. like Heston's egg and bacon flavoured ice-cream it's just excessive :(

ROAN

This designer/typographer from Mexico, going by the name of ROAN is just right.  That's all there is to it.
